September was a busy one across the stores and October has started off with a bang in Spring Valley. We officially started demolition for the new location of the Chevrolet Buick of Spring Valley.

Dogs Downtown
September 17th was the annual Dogs Downtown in Peace Plaza of Rochester where an estimated 9,000 people attended! Our team had a blast handing out dog toys and petting the dogs. We even did a tennis ball drop out the back of the Subaru shuttle vehicle. Watch a brief recap.

We sat down with Shawn Petersen, one of our Sales Manager at Buick GMC of Rochester.
Subaru Loves Learning
September means the beginning of another school year and what more perfect time to donate the Subaru Loves Learning Kits to our adopted classrooms. Our Subaru sales team took one morning to assemble the kits (check out what is in them here).
There was two parts to our contribution, first was a donation of $500 to the classrooms we partnered with through Adopt A Classroom and second was the school supplies kits.
The kids were loaded up and delivered to Franklin Elementary School on September 21st. I’m not sure who was more excited, the students or the teachers, both were very appreciative of the donation. Elliott and Savanna were able to read to some of the classrooms. Watch the full delivery recap below.
Subaru Loves Pets
Mark your calendars, October 27th from 10am to noon on the Subaru show floor we will be hosting a pet adoption event with Paws and Claws of Rochester. Yup, you read that right, puppies will be at Subaru that will need to go to a good home!
This is part of the Subaru Loves Pets campaign. During the month of October, Subaru is donating $100 to Paws and Claws for every adoption, up to $3,100. We also have new pet parent kits we will be handing out to those who adopt!
