Penz Auto Group Spreads Holiday Cheer to over Ten Local Families and Charities
During November and December, Penz Automotive employees picked their favorite charities and families in need to give back to through the 2nd Annual Penz Giving Project. A total of $9,000 was distributed to the Rochester community.
Some went to local charities such as, The Gift of Life Transplant House, Boys and Girls Club of Rochester, and Women’s Shelter. Another team went shopping for children’s toys that were donated to the Ronald McDonald House, Toys for Tots and Salvation Army to be distributed to kids in our community.
While others found families that had a tough year. One family experienced a house fire, another the loss of a child, and one whose daughter has battled and beat stage five kidney cancer.
“It’s the right thing to do,” said Todd Penz, owner of Penz Auto, when asked why he gives back to the community, “It’s our job as a business in the Rochester community to help those that are less fortunate and it’s really important to me.”
