Subaru Bike Program
Tuesday, August 30th was the big day, we delivered 10 bikes to the Boys and Girls Club of Rochester. This was part of our Subaru Loves Learning initiative to promote healthy living among students in the Rochester area. The students were picked based on their behavior and attendance over the summer program.
This really was a team effort; sales, parts and technicians helped by putting bikes together and getting them ready for delivery. The students were very excited for their new bikes and were able to pick them out Tuesday morning! All of them hopped on and started riding around the Boys and Girls Club right away. Young Life & Swing Your Birdie
August was another busy month for golf tournaments as the Young Life tournament was the 22nd and Ronald McDonald House’s Swing Your Birdie was rescheduled to the 29th. Young Life is an organization that introduces teens to Jesus and helps them grow in their faith. Some of the teens that have been impacted by Young Life shared their experience after the tournament which was really cool.
Ronald McDonald House is an ongoing partner with Subaru and was the golfer gift sponsor. Our team enjoyed the day on the Somerby Golf Course and raised funds for the RMD of Rochester. Watch a recap here.

Dogs Downtown
Calling all dog lovers, this is the event for you! Subaru is a longtime partner with Rochester Downtown Alliance in presenting Dogs Downtown. Saturday, September 17 from 11-3pm in Peace Plaza will be taken over by dogs and their owners. Learn more here.
