Great Communication, great follow-up to questions asked and finding the answers if unknown. To have a dealership like this tend to your every need and listen to you is something I haven't experienced in a long time and that is thanks to Ben Markowski. We have had vehicles from Honda, Chevrolet, & Subaru and it's never been this great of service, but when we bought our truck from Penz Chevrolet we have never been happier. Keep doing this type of Guest/Customer Service! Amazing dealership!

Outstanding service. Tech was communitive and fixed my issue with ease. Want to update this. 12/29/2025 Had another issue. Had to go to dealership because it was an ignition issue. After an initial quote of 876, the most awesome tech Ricky called and said he had fixed the problem and saved me 700 bucks. Good lookin out Ricky and the Subaru of Rochester team.

Drove nearly 5 hours to purchase a vehicle at Subaru of Rochester, and I would make the drive again in a heartbeat. From the get-go, Mike in the Sales department ensured a seamless experience, and was very knowledgeable and friendly. He made sure the vehicle was exactly what I wanted, and even went the extra mile to install the vehicle's winter floor mats before I drove it off the lot. I never felt pressured, which took a lot of stress out of the car buying experience.

We had problems with a brake module when we were in the Minneapolis/Rochester area. We stopped in and they checked it over immediately to determine if it was drivable. They determined it was not safe and that we should get it repaired. They ordered the parts and since it took a while to get them, we were given a rental car to take us back to Sioux Falls. A week later, when everything was repaired, a driver brought our vehicle back and picked up the rental car. Since we have owned the vehicle, 2025 Buick enclave, for only nine months it was all under warranty. They were very professional, and we appreciated their promptness very much.

Brandon did a great job with my wife purchasing a used vehicle. Friendly, and treated her with respect, answered all her questions. A pleasent test drive helped seal the sale. Literally felt no pressure and the 7 day return policy really gave her peace of mind that she literally would not get "stuck" if she felt a mistake was made a few days after purchase. Well done staff!

I recently purchased a used 2005 Toyota RAV4 from this dealership. They had just recently gotten it in and it was in the shop for pre-sale repairs when I came to look at it, but I was told it was in drivable condition. I test drove it and liked it, but the TPMS, VSC and check engine lights were on, and the electronic locks didn't work. There was a misunderstanding or miscommunication somewhere along the way that resulted in me thinking these were supposed to be fixed before sale and that they would cover the repairs of these issues even if I bought the car before they were done. I was apparently incorrect. They only intended to fix issues that created a safety risk for the driver, and none of these issues fit that criteria in their view. However, they still understood my situation and agreed to cover the repairs in question. I've had bad experiences with dealers in the past, so I never imagined I would find one capable of 5-star service, but Subaru of Rochester has done it.

The "Faces" of GMC of Rochester Service are clearly Hailey and Sue. These two gems really embody the concept of customer-first service and they do it with a GREAT attitude and charming demeanor. These to gems are clearly keepers! My other kudos go to Service manager Seathi. This gentleman is a professional in every way. Treating customers, managing processes, and overall just making things happen, this man gets it done in a respectful and informative manner. I recently purchased a Crosstrek from Subaru of Rochester, and Isaih Handy helped me out along the way. I was able to negotiate with him and his team respectfully. I felt like I was treated with kindness and generosity. I would highly recommend getting in contact with Isaih if you are interested in buying a vehicle from here. I bought a used 2012 Rav4 from GMC of Rochester. It was a great experience. I thought the price was fair, and they put new tires, brakes, battery, wipers, etc. Most impressive was the detailing they put into that car before I picked it up. It literally looked like a brand new car after it was detailed.

there a lot of reasons why i love subaru PENZ Rochester MN, first they help abandoned animals find their new homes, second they have top notch good customer service especially to the manager Jake who helped me a lot with the process and also her assistant Emma who helped me choose crosstrek and lastly the overall comfort of the car itself not to mention the technology, interiors with the big screen and safety wise its superb more than what i need at a very reasonable price.

Your service department was phenomenal. My Cadillac ELR died 1.5 miles from their shop. We live out of state and I was transporting my hubby to Mayo Clinic in Rochester. I called their Service Department and they called a tow truck for me. It was close to closing time and they didn’t have a loaner or rental car available on short notice. Tim in the service department took a 2026 SilvErado EV truck off their sales lot and made sure I was able to get my husband with heart monitors on back to Mayo for radiation treatments. At the end of the week we returned their truck and they had my Cadillac repaired the best they could , washed up and ready to go. The kindest (3) gentleman in that service and repair department I have ever dealt with. My hubby has end stage cancer and they made a frightening situation turn into the best service I’ve ever had from any dealership in my life! Kudos to those who cared at the Spring Valley Dealership to help us in our time of need. When I need my next vehicle (which sounds like will need to be soon), I’m going to drive out of state back to them to buy it. Thank you for all you guys did and for trusting us with that brand new truck while our repairs were done.

My husband and I recently bought the 2026 Crosstrek Hybrid from this Subaru dealership. From the beginning to the end, it was a very positive experience. We had done some research on the car model we were interested in and we dropped by the dealership to see if we could do test drive. Emily was so helpful and did not make us feel pressured during the process. We are so happy with our purchase and with the customer service. Everyone was so friendly!

It was a wonderful experience. Had shopped the. Internet for vehicles and pricing. Needed to physically see the different models and trim packages. We live in Red Wing and Rochester was closer. The plan was to visit different dealerships and shop. The staff and salespeople at Penz were very friendly. Not pushy. Very accommodating as we looked and test drove 4-6 vehicles. Our salesman ,Gbaorik,was very helpful. If he didn't have the answers,he sought it out quickly. He made it our experience and did a great job. The financing is a whole nother part to the buy. But, Ally,was very professional, not pushy and ww talked through what we wanted for plans and she had good feedback without making us feel uncomfortable if I said "No thanks."i It takes time to buy that car you want,but we finalized and walked out feeling good about the whole experience. It's been awhile since we did a vehicle purchase,especially new. But,they were excellent.

Excellent experience! I have told all of my friends. The customer service tops all. It's immaculate inside and they serve coffee, etc A very nice touch. They support the community in multiple facets. They are very generous to support other great causes. I am in love with my car. I hadn't originally planned on buying a Subaru but I am sold on this whole situation. And they follow up with everything. If you need a vehicle this is the place to go. Hands down. Their theme is "LOVE" and this is evident. Christianity is part of their life and it shows. I also returned to work with a professional sales man, Alex P. Great experience. My experience on March 31st with Trevor and the Service Department was wonderful. I could not have asked for a better experience. Keep up the good work. I gave told many Mankato people what a wonderful job your dealership and service department do.. It was easy to book an appointment online. I was welcomed in to the garage on time. They did a thorough assessment of my car as well as the maintenance that I had asked for. The carwash was down. They gave me a complete readout of all the systems within in my car and their status. Very satisfied.

I feel the sales and financing team at Subaru of Rochester took care of me very well. They kept me informed of the stock, and found me a 2026 Outback Limited (CPO with only 2,500 mi) I live 1 1/2 hours away, so they had it delivered to my house, and picked up my car for trade in. I've never had that option before. The convenience was great, but the down side was no one was there to explain the forms I had to fill out at the time of delivery, and so I had to do some calling. The biggest thing I didn't like was before I came to the dealership I asked them if I was to buy a car there, could I take it to any other dealership for warrenty service. They confirmed absolutely! When it came down to it, when I got on location, they clarified, I could go anywhere, but I would have to pay $100 deductible to go elsewhere for servicing.. I felt that was a "bait & switch", In the end, I used that as leverage on my deal and got that waived for the future. Hopefully there will be no "catches" to that when the event when it arrives.

Subaru of Rochester is truly a wonderful dealership!!! The staff is top notch and professional, Olivia got me into a fantastic 2021 outback that we were talking about over the weekend- said I couldn’t make it until Monday morning and was told it be cleaned and gased up for me to take for a test drive and sure enough Monday morning it was ready for me. I’ll be coming back to Subaru of Rochester for all my future vehicle needs.

Every time I get service done at this location the bar is set a little higher. Zoey is amazing and helped us navigate what was most important for regular service on our high mileage car. With money being tight these days, it is a relief to come to a business that isn’t trying to squeeze more money out of you. They work more as a trusted partner. We live 9 hours away and alway make sure we get our service done here when we are in town.

I recently purchased a 2026 GMC Sierra Denali from Penz GMC of Rochester and the entire experience was excellent from start to finish. Bennett (Sales) was fantastic to work with. She was knowledgeable about the trucks features and never once made me feel pressured. When she didn't know an answer she didn't try to guess and simply went and asked the manager. Scott (Manager) did an outstanding job walking me through every line item on the proposal, including the trade in, and was patient with my questions until I felt comfortable. It was clear to me that Scott has experience, knowledge, and most importantly patience with the customer experience. Derek (Finance) is extremely knowledgeable and, at my request, moved quickly through thr paperwork but was still able to explain each step so that I understood what I was signing. I felt like I got a fair price on the new truck and trade in which was slightly favorable compared to other local dealerships that quoted me in the previous week. Its clear this team works well together and made this big purchase feel easy and fun rather than stressful.

I found the car I wanted on Cargurus and it was located at Subaru of Rochester in MN. I did everything by text. They worked with me over a couple of days to get the deal I wanted done. The salesman, Gaborik, was helpful in sending a video of the car and pointing out a bonus that hadn't been noted. I had wanted the car delivered to me, but was told they could only deliver 45 miles from the dealership. I luckily have an amazing friend that drove me the 3 + hours it took to get there. Walk through of the tech and car was pretty thorough and, all in all, was a good experience.

Our second vehicle purchased from Subaru of Rochester. Smooth experience the whole way through. Very comfortable atmosphere. What I appreciate most is how easy he makes everything. Whether it’s routine maintenance or repairs, he keeps me informed and gives the extra effort to provide excellent customer service. Choosing a car and filling out all the paperwork is a lengthy process and Subaru of Rochester did their best to provide water, snacks, a place for our child to play, and anything to make the process go as efficiently as possible. Collins was particularly excellent, he is very professional while being very pleasant as well. I would say affable. This was our third time purchasing a vehicle here, and all three times went rather well, and importantly when things didn't go perfectly, they did well to recover, and being good at that is an important skill they put to great use. Great all around experience, would buy again.
