Subaru Rochester has treated us well on more than one occasion. Purchasing two cars, my only advice would be to ask for your personalized interest numbers. Everyone was very nice when we've gone for maintenance. I arrived an hour earlier than expected and they got us in no problem. Special thanks to Josh and Rickey for being knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient.

Went to another mechanic first and told I had a transmission problem. They quoted me $10,000.Went Subaru fully prepared to need a new transmission and work on doing a payment plan.Not only did they realize the other mechanic was wrong but the were able to fix for much $1,600. They got my car done within a day. Mechanics were very up front with me and made sure I got my car back right away.

We recently purchased a 2020 Kia Telluride SX from Spring Valley Chevy in Minnesota, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. Shopping from out of state (Illinois) can be stressful, but Neysa, our salesperson, made the entire process painless and incredibly smooth. Not only did she answer all of our questions quickly and honestly, but she also arranged to have the vehicle delivered right to our doorstep—a huge convenience that really set this dealership apart. The price was extremely fair and beat out every dealer we contacted in Illinois. On top of that, the vehicle came with a powertrain warranty, giving us extra peace of mind. Highly recommend Spring Valley Chevy and especially Neysa if you’re looking for a professional, no-hassle buying experience—even from out of state!

Elliot was super. I have never experienced a car salesman as thorough and accommodating as Elliott. Answered all questions. Toured us through the whole facility. Jake and Jeremiah also so personable and helpful. No pressure from anyone. We drove out with a Crosstrek Wilderness. We love it. Just took our Crosstrek in for its first oil change (which was free). I was in and out in about 30 minutes. This dealership really makes the extra effort to make you happy.

Had our Forester serviced at Penz Subaru in Rochester. Great service with communication throughout the day when it was getting serviced. They communicate via text which was convenient during my work day. Their van service is very convenient. When I’ve had service that has taken a few days I’ve been able to rent a car.

Thank you to my trusty service advisor Tegin who went above and beyond with some recent repairs my car needed. It was a couple things not covered by my extended warranty--though he worked hard with the warranty company to try and get them to change their mind (they wouldn't). I was able to get in a few days earlier than planned once the part arrived. I like that I have a consistent individual that I trust to handle my car repairs. Everyone I encounter there in the service department is helpful. Check them out!

I called to get parts to do work myself and was told I had an extended warranty so took my car in and they took care of the issue at no cost to me. I love my forester and was very pleased with the whole process as I purchased it. Now a little over a year later and even with the issue of a broken down car I am even more of a Subaru lover. All the people at Penz Subaru are great to work with will deal with them again and will gladly tell others to give them an opportunity .Great job.

I had an amazing car-buying experience at Subaru of Rochester—truly the least stressful one I’ve ever had. I worked with Collins, and from the moment I walked in, I felt completely respected. I went in alone as a younger woman, which can sometimes feel intimidating at dealerships, but there was absolutely no pressure at any point. Collins was kind, open, and refreshingly honest. What really stood out to me was how transparent he was about pricing. Everything was clearly laid out and explained upfront, with no hidden fees or surprises. I felt incredibly well-informed about all of my options, but never once did I feel pushed toward upgrades or add-ons. He made sure I understood everything and felt comfortable throughout the process. It was clear that Collins genuinely wanted me to make the best decision for me, not just close a sale. I left feeling confident, respected, and genuinely happy with my purchase. I can’t recommend Collins or Subaru of Rochester enough—especially if you're looking for a calm, clear, and supportive car-buying experience.

It was easy to book an appointment online. I was welcomed in to the garage on time. They did a thorough assessment of my car as well as the maintenance that I had asked for. The carwash was down. They gave me a complete readout of all the systems within in my car and their status. Very satisfied.

When buying my car Ian was very kind and inviting, he made us feel as if we had known him for years as he made jokes with us. Ian made my parents and I feel very welcomed and at ease with loaning my first car from a dealership. Ian made the process very easy and explained every detail of the steps on loaning a vehicle. He was kind even though he was jumping between two customers which I believe was more than likely stressful. I decided to try out two vehicles and both times I had gotten in the driver seat he explained where everything in the car was located at. I had decided to go with the first car I had drove and he gave me a first bump and told me it was a pleasure being able to help me find a car I loved. As someone who has severe social anxiety and can’t be in places with people I do not know for long, Ian made it feel like a second home and continuously checked up on my parents and I and I was able to stay and not need a break the entire process of signing papers and other things that were needed for me to be able to drive the car home. I had a wonderful experience loaning my car and would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a new car!

Buy a car from Esad. Sent him a text on Thursday night telling him what I wanted and minutes later he had something. On Friday we did all the paperwork virtually and by 2:00 pm Saturday, I test drove the car, signed the papers and was in my way home, the proud new owner of a Subaru. Esad is a pro and will get you what you want.

This was my last FREE oil-change at @ 12,000 miles including 15-pt inspection and tire rotation. I appreciated that it included a live video made by the technician as he went thru all 15 pts with helpful explanation. In addition, since I live on a gravel road, I asked for the cabin filter to be changed, and it was. David said it would take about an hour to get it done and that proved accurate. We went over everything afterward and I was satisfied. I went on with my day promptly. Their shop prices are reasonable....considering they are a dealership!

Very professional service. The Subaru rep, David, took time to describe what types of testing would be done and the approximate cost of tuneup when we dropped off our car. Text messages kept us informed of the progress. When we went to pick up the car, the same rep went through in detail about the tuneup. We were most impressed and pleased with the rep and the experience. We have not had such good experience with getting our vehicles serviced. Thank you!

I was happy with my Subaru service. I had an oil change. They checked my tread thickness, filters, brake pads, etc, so that I know what to watch for in the future. They informed me but did not push to have this taken care of today. They did a good job.

My husband and I recently bought the 2026 Crosstrek Hybrid from this Subaru dealership. From the beginning to the end, it was a very positive experience. We had done some research on the car model we were interested in and we dropped by the dealership to see if we could do test drive. It was a wonderful experience. Had shopped the. Internet for vehicles and pricing. Needed to physically see the different models and trim packages. We live in Red Wing and Rochester was closer. The plan was to visit different dealerships and shop. The staff and salespeople at Penz were very friendly. Not pushy. Very accommodating as we looked and test drove 4-6 vehicles. Our salesman ,Gbaorik,was very helpful. If he didn't have the answers,he sought it out quickly. He made it our experience and did a great job. The financing is a whole nother part to the buy. But, Ally,was very professional, not pushy and ww talked through what we wanted for plans and she had good feedback without making us feel uncomfortable if I said "No thanks."i It takes time to buy that car you want,but we finalized and walked out feeling good about the whole experience. It's been awhile since we did a vehicle purchase,especially new. But,they were excellent.

Excellent experience! I have told all of my friends. The customer service tops all. It's immaculate inside and they serve coffee, etc A very nice touch. They support the community in multiple facets. They are very generous to support other great causes. I am in love with my car. I hadn't originally planned on buying a Subaru but I am sold on this whole situation. It was easy to book an appointment online. I was welcomed in to the garage on time. They did a thorough assessment of my car as well as the maintenance that I had asked for. The carwash was down. They gave me a complete readout of all the systems within in my car and their status. Very satisfied.

I feel the sales and financing team at Subaru of Rochester took care of me very well. They kept me informed of the stock, and found me a 2026 Outback Limited (CPO with only 2,500 mi) I live 1 1/2 hours away, so they had it delivered to my house, and picked up my car for trade in. I've never had that option before. The convenience was great, but the down side was no one was there to explain the forms I had to fill out at the time of delivery, and so I had to do some calling. The biggest thing I didn't like was before I came to the dealership I asked them if I was to buy a car there, could I take it to any other dealership for warrenty service. They confirmed absolutely! When it came down to it, when I got on location, they clarified, I could go anywhere, but I would have to pay $100 deductible to go elsewhere for servicing.. I felt that was a "bait & switch", In the end, I used that as leverage on my deal and got that waived for the future. Hopefully there will be no "catches" to that when the event when it arrives.

Subaru of Rochester is truly a wonderful dealership!!! The staff is top notch and professional, Olivia got me into a fantastic 2021 outback that we were talking about over the weekend- said I couldn’t make it until Monday morning and was told it be cleaned and gased up for me to take for a test drive and sure enough Monday morning it was ready for me. I’ll be coming back to Subaru of Rochester for all my future vehicle needs.

Every time I get service done at this location the bar is set a little higher. Zoey is amazing and helped us navigate what was most important for regular service on our high mileage car. With money being tight these days, it is a relief to come to a business that isn’t trying to squeeze more money out of you. They work more as a trusted partner. We live 9 hours away and alway make sure we get our service done here when we are in town.

I recently purchased a 2026 GMC Sierra Denali from Penz GMC of Rochester and the entire experience was excellent from start to finish. Bennett (Sales) was fantastic to work with. She was knowledgeable about the trucks features and never once made me feel pressured. When she didn't know an answer she didn't try to guess and simply went and asked the manager. Scott (Manager) did an outstanding job walking me through every line item on the proposal, including the trade in, and was patient with my questions until I felt comfortable. It was clear to me that Scott has experience, knowledge, and most importantly patience with the customer experience. Derek (Finance) is extremely knowledgeable and, at my request, moved quickly through thr paperwork but was still able to explain each step so that I understood what I was signing. I felt like I got a fair price on the new truck and trade in which was slightly favorable compared to other local dealerships that quoted me in the previous week. Its clear this team works well together and made this big purchase feel easy and fun rather than stressful.

I found the car I wanted on Cargurus and it was located at Subaru of Rochester in MN. I did everything by text. They worked with me over a couple of days to get the deal I wanted done. The salesman, Gaborik, was helpful in sending a video of the car and pointing out a bonus that hadn't been noted. I had wanted the car delivered to me, but was told they could only deliver 45 miles from the dealership. I luckily have an amazing friend that drove me the 3 + hours it took to get there. Walk through of the tech and car was pretty thorough and, all in all, was a good experience.

Our second vehicle purchased from Subaru of Rochester. Smooth experience the whole way through. Very comfortable atmosphere. Choosing a car and filling out all the paperwork is a lengthy process and Subaru of Rochester did their best to provide water, snacks, a place for our child to play, and anything to make the process go as efficiently as possible. Collins was particularly excellent, he is very professional while being very pleasant as well. I would say affable. This was our third time purchasing a vehicle here, and all three times went rather well, and importantly when things didn't go perfectly, they did well to recover, and being good at that is an important skill they put to great use. Great all around experience, would buy again.
