I had a great experience with Subaru of Rochester. Everyone was kind, professional, punctual, and fair throughout the entire process. Jordan, the salesman, was extremely helpful and made the buying experience easy and comfortable. Jeremiah, the accountant, was also great to work with and made the paperwork straightforward and hassle-free. It’s refreshing to deal with a dealership that treats its customers with respect and doesn’t make you feel pressured. I really appreciate the way I was treated and would definitely recommend Subaru of Rochester to anyone looking for a vehicle. Unlike the rushed Honda buying experience across town—where I literally spent today peeling their dealer badge off my car—Subaru actually lets you take your time. My husband and I recently bought the 2026 Crosstrek Hybrid from this Subaru dealership. From the beginning to the end, it was a very positive experience. We had done some research on the car model we were interested in and we dropped by the dealership to see if we could do test drive. Emily was so helpful and did not make us feel pressured during the process. We are so happy with our purchase and with the customer service. Everyone was so friendly!

It was a wonderful experience. Had shopped the. Internet for vehicles and pricing. Needed to physically see the different models and trim packages. We live in Red Wing and Rochester was closer. The plan was to visit different dealerships and shop. The staff and salespeople at Penz were very friendly. Not pushy. Very accommodating as we looked and test drove 4-6 vehicles. Our salesman ,Gbaorik,was very helpful. If he didn't have the answers,he sought it out quickly. He made it our experience and did a great job. The financing is a whole nother part to the buy. But, Ally,was very professional, not pushy and ww talked through what we wanted for plans and she had good feedback without making us feel uncomfortable if I said "No thanks."i It takes time to buy that car you want,but we finalized and walked out feeling good about the whole experience. It's been awhile since we did a vehicle purchase,especially new. But,they were excellent.

Excellent experience! I have told all of my friends. The customer service tops all. It's immaculate inside and they serve coffee, etc A very nice touch. They support the community in multiple facets. They are very generous to support other great causes. I am in love with my car. I hadn't originally planned on buying a Subaru but I am sold on this whole situation. And they follow up with everything. If you need a vehicle this is the place to go. Hands down. Their theme is "LOVE" and this is evident. Christianity is part of their life and it shows. I also returned to work with a professional sales man, Alex P. Great experience. My experience on March 31st with Trevor and the Service Department was wonderful. I could not have asked for a better experience. Keep up the good work. I gave told many Mankato people what a wonderful job your dealership and service department do.. Now on my third Outback from Rochester Subaru. Great experience. My salesman, Collin was wonderful and Jake the GM was very friendly and professional. People at Subaru are always great. If you are purchasing a new automobile, I’m not sure how important customer service is to you vs having a great car. At Subaru the cars are great and the customer service is great.

It was easy to book an appointment online. I was welcomed in to the garage on time. They did a thorough assessment of my car as well as the maintenance that I had asked for. The carwash was down. They gave me a complete readout of all the systems within in my car and their status. Very satisfied.

I feel the sales and financing team at Subaru of Rochester took care of me very well. They kept me informed of the stock, and found me a 2026 Outback Limited (CPO with only 2,500 mi) I live 1 1/2 hours away, so they had it delivered to my house, and picked up my car for trade in. I've never had that option before. The convenience was great, but the down side was no one was there to explain the forms I had to fill out at the time of delivery, and so I had to do some calling. The biggest thing I didn't like was before I came to the dealership I asked them if I was to buy a car there, could I take it to any other dealership for warrenty service. They confirmed absolutely! When it came down to it, when I got on location, they clarified, I could go anywhere, but I would have to pay $100 deductible to go elsewhere for servicing.. I felt that was a "bait & switch", In the end, I used that as leverage on my deal and got that waived for the future. Hopefully there will be no "catches" to that when the event when it arrives.

Subaru of Rochester is truly a wonderful dealership!!! The staff is top notch and professional, Olivia got me into a fantastic 2021 outback that we were talking about over the weekend- said I couldn’t make it until Monday morning and was told it be cleaned and gased up for me to take for a test drive and sure enough Monday morning it was ready for me. I’ll be coming back to Subaru of Rochester for all my future vehicle needs.

Every time I get service done at this location the bar is set a little higher. Zoey is amazing and helped us navigate what was most important for regular service on our high mileage car. With money being tight these days, it is a relief to come to a business that isn’t trying to squeeze more money out of you. They work more as a trusted partner. We live 9 hours away and alway make sure we get our service done here when we are in town.

I recently purchased a 2026 GMC Sierra Denali from Penz GMC of Rochester and the entire experience was excellent from start to finish. Bennett (Sales) was fantastic to work with. She was knowledgeable about the trucks features and never once made me feel pressured. When she didn't know an answer she didn't try to guess and simply went and asked the manager. Scott (Manager) did an outstanding job walking me through every line item on the proposal, including the trade in, and was patient with my questions until I felt comfortable. It was clear to me that Scott has experience, knowledge, and most importantly patience with the customer experience. Derek (Finance) is extremely knowledgeable and, at my request, moved quickly through thr paperwork but was still able to explain each step so that I understood what I was signing. I felt like I got a fair price on the new truck and trade in which was slightly favorable compared to other local dealerships that quoted me in the previous week. Its clear this team works well together and made this big purchase feel easy and fun rather than stressful.

I found the car I wanted on Cargurus and it was located at Subaru of Rochester in MN. I did everything by text. They worked with me over a couple of days to get the deal I wanted done. The salesman, Gaborik, was helpful in sending a video of the car and pointing out a bonus that hadn't been noted. I had wanted the car delivered to me, but was told they could only deliver 45 miles from the dealership. I luckily have an amazing friend that drove me the 3 + hours it took to get there. Walk through of the tech and car was pretty thorough and, all in all, was a good experience.

Our second vehicle purchased from Subaru of Rochester. Smooth experience the whole way through. Very comfortable atmosphere. I’ve always endured great experiences working with Tim in the service department. He’s knowledgeable, professional, and communicates clearly throughout the entire process. What I appreciate most is how easy he makes everything. Whether it’s routine maintenance or repairs, he keeps me informed and gives the extra effort to provide excellent customer service. On more than one occasion, he has arranged to pick up my vehicle and return it when the work was completed, which saved me time and made the entire process incredibly convenient. It’s rare to find someone who genuinely cares about his customers and takes pride in what he does. Choosing a car and filling out all the paperwork is a lengthy process and Subaru of Rochester did their best to provide water, snacks, a place for our child to play, and anything to make the process go as efficiently as possible. Collins was particularly excellent, he is very professional while being very pleasant as well. I would say affable. This was our third time purchasing a vehicle here, and all three times went rather well, and importantly when things didn't go perfectly, they did well to recover, and being good at that is an important skill they put to great use. Great all around experience, would buy again.

Excellent customer service at Penz Subaru! Came in late in day with an alternator hard-down failure that luckily occurred while I was at Shoppes on Maine. They provided a brand new 2025 Outback as a loaner vehicle on the spot at no cost. They had my car repaired before 5PM the next day, at an incredibly fair price, and had even run my car through their car wash, also at no charge. I shared with one of my relatives that if they are looking for a car, they should buy from Penz Subaru if for no other reason than the service. I hope they are able to continue this level of service in perpetuity. I was quite frankly amazed.

We just picked up our 2025 Subaru Forester Hybrid two days ago and the next day we drove to central Wisconsin for a family Easter weekend. We enjoyed the experience totally! We enjoyed experiencing all the safety features while driving both four and two lane roads. And we laughed when I accidentally turned on the heated seats that weren’t needed at the time. We forgot where the button was to open the gas tank and looked it up in the manual. When I drove the car home we had a heavy rain storm and I really appreciated the automatic speed of the windshield wipers. Also, we truly appreciated our salesman Alex and the finance manager Meg. We went for all the bells and whistles for this hybrid vehicle and are so glad we did. We feel very safe and we love it. Thank you Subaru for making a hybrid SUV. I should have bought Nissan. I had urgent issues with my Subaru and they couldn't get me in, so they sent me to their partner Nissan dealership. WOW. I went back rather than to the Subaru dealership because of how great their service was. They were perfectly communicative - not too much, not too little (or nothing at all). Explained everything well. Treated me with kindness and respect. Cared about my time. They got me into a rental as soon as their shuttle returned me off from work. They were honest about timing, what I needed to have done now, what could wait, and pricing. Would return again. Thanks Nicola and Jacob!

I drove 2 1/2 hours to test drive and potentially purchase a truck that I had found online two days prior. The sales man Ian was quick to respond at night when I didn’t expect anyone to be reaching back out to me. The next day he stayed in contact with me and got all the information and even additional pictures I asked for before making a long trip to check out a truck. The day of there was a hiccup with the truck, but the team stayed in contact with me and did all they could to make sure I was well taken care of. I talked to about 3-4 people pertaining to the issue that arose that morning, which to me meant that everyone was thoroughly involved and wanted to make sure that I was satisfied with my purchase. After speaking with the VP, sales manager, and my salesman, it was clear I would be happy with my purchase. They are great to work with and would highly recommend to anyone I know if they are in the market for a new and used vehicle. And their inventory is very appealing all around.

David P. Is an excellent Service Rep. Kept me informed during the entire process and made everything very clear. Both while waiting at the dealership and via text/phone. Recommendations are just that and the final decision is mine without pressure. He and the service tech did a lot of research and extra work into a warranty issue as well. Waiting area is set up w work stations if needed. This dealership welcomes dogs both inside and a play area outside. They even let my dog ride the courtesy car home when an unexpected issue arose, so bring your own towel just in case, although I’m sure they’d spring for a disposable seat cover.

Contacted Al Boyson, who we have dealt with on numerous other occasions, and told him what kind of a pre-owned vehicle we were looking. He got back to us the next day with several alternatives. We met with Al and test drove a Buick Encore. We contacted Al the next day and told him we wanted it. We traded in a GMC pick up for a 2020 GMC SLT Pick Up and Ryan jumped up and greeted us right when we walked in the door with a great attitude the whole time. We also delt with the CFO, and a Issac in finance. Everyone was great! Couple thing we could suggest: -Turn around time in selling a vehicle - Pick up- when a customer has requests that everyone agrees on have it all ready to go when they walk into the door. Otherwise everything was great and come to find out Ryan has only been at this job for a couple months and is absolutely killing it!

March 2025...Mike was GREAT! Explained everything well. And when the tech was doing the inspection and found a cracked control arm, Mike recommended the service to do. And he already knew they had the replacement parts so I was able to get my car back the same day. (Only glitch was that my key was hiding inside the car between the console and the passenger seat. Next time, put the key in the customers hand :-) 10 gold stars! (Woulda been 11 if I hadn't had to search my car's interior for the key. Also found a few old apple cores and a really old French fry.) Oct 2024...11 gold stars! Brought in my 2015 Altima for a normal lube, oil, filter replacement. When making the appointment online, the 80,000 service was recommended. Steven the service writer noticed the writer blades were streaking so he added those to be replaced. Once they did the inspection, they noticed a missing heat shield clamp and a burned out side market light. They fixed/replaced those also. Super service! Great people! Thank you!
